Why sketch comedy?

I love the art form of sketch comedy. Getting people to laugh in a short time span is one of the hardest things to do. In the past few years the genre of internet sketch comedy has exploded. There are success stories of people creating sketches for the web and finding a mainstream audience. I want to help create more success for sketch comedians by featuring their work on The Poke Show.

Also, I hear your mom likes sketch comedy and since I am her lover I figured it'd be a nice thing to do for her.
