So, someone has finally noticed my absence. Thanks .

There’s two reasons why I haven’t been posting:

1) I’ve been under the weather.

I have a bad back — some days it hurts like the devil to sit at my PC. I’d use my laptop, but it’s like 6 years old and extremely slow (in computer years it’s a seventy year old woman).

Of course, I’ve had the back thing for a while and have fought through the pain many times in order to bring my viewers sketch comedy goodness. So, while I am listing this one first, it is definitely not the top reason — that would be:

2) I was trying to see if anyone would notice.

I’ll put it to you this way…this blog gets a nice chunk of traffic for a niche site that doesn’t advertise and isn’t highly ranked on any blog ranking sites (because we’ve been screwed over more than once — another rant for another day). Yet all that traffic means nothing if no one ever comments.

In the year this site has been up, I have gained one frequent commenter that doesn’t know me or any members of The Non-Retards or The Lava Factory personally — that would be the aforementioned Bee (and don’t get me wrong, I appreciate her — I mean she doesn’t even know me and she cared enough to ask what was up…no one who has a vested interest in this site did that).

I know a lot of people subscribe to the feed, I can see when they do and when they visit. Yet rarely do I get the joy of hearing what these people think.

I’ve read many articles and blog posts saying that in order to get people to comment you pretty much have to beg them. So that’s what I’m gonna do.

Tell me if you like the site. Tell me if you don’t. Tell me if you think I’m an idiot. Tell me if you are an idiot yourself. Just tell me something. I need to know my time is worth it.

If this sounds like me being a whiny bitch, so be it. But I feel it needed to be said.
